The bodyguard who bailed on Kim Kardashian West before she had been robbed at gunpoint at Paris has been sued... TMZ has learned. Kim's insurer issuing pascal Duvier along with the firm he worked -- PROTECT SECURITY -- for about $ 6.1 million...
the total amount that the insurer paid Kim for its stolen jewellery which has been obtained at gunpoint October 3, 2016, in a Paris hotel. As we mentioned, Duvier left the hotel area and followed Kourtney and Kendall closely into a local club, leaving Kim with safety.
The suit also asserts there was a range of safety breaches. Among other items, the front gate into the courtyard of the hotel has been overlooking a lock, and the intercom into the door wasn't working... items the bodyguard must have flagged. The suit, filed by AIG, asserts the breaches enabled the masked gunmen to join the resort and make their way upward to Kim's unit, where she had been gagged, tied up and place into a tub.
Neither he nor the resort is being prosecuted, although the lodging blasts for not needing any security instruction. You will remember he had been held at gunpoint and taken around Kim's unit at which he unlocked the door. Kim isn't suing... AIG compensated Kim's claim and is now going after the person and firm it considers were negligent and caused the robbery.
