Toddler Shreds Up Parents' $1,000 Savings Due the Rules Do Not Connect with Him

Leo Belnap might not even share his parents' passion for University of Utah soccer.  The cash they had saved up for tickets wound up at the newspaper shredder--and Leo is the prime suspect.


 Jackie and Ben Belnap had managed to save $1,060, carefully tucked in an envelope they were planning to send to Ben's visitors to refund them for the price of tickets to root on their preferred school soccer team.

The envelope vanished over the weekend and following a comprehensive investigation, they discovered its stays at the household shredder, according to local news outlet KSL at Utah. So my spouse was saving up to cover our @Utah_Football tickets in money.


We pulled our cash out yesterday to cover my mother for the period... We could not locate the envelope before my wife assessed the shredder.

The Belnap's toddler is well-versed at the manners of shredding, as he often assists his mother to shred their junk mail or major files they don't wish to throw in the garbage whole.  His parents think he utilized his near-professional degree shredding abilities on the envelope containing their hard-earned money when they were not paying close enough attention.


They think it was an accident of types rather than a statement regarding the soccer group's performance against Washington State on Saturday. The Belnaps set about attempting to separate the money after finding the whereabouts of the money.  The picture Ben Indicates the difficulty of this job: We separated the invoices.

  The Cubs BTW? While the household expects the United States Department of Treasury can repay a few of the shredded money, for today, they're taking the long term.  "It required a couple of hours to get over the shock, but it truly is hilarious.  Can result in a wedding story that is fantastic! ," Ben tweeted. On the flip side, the ticket office in the University of Utah learned in their plight and is offering to help soothe some of their pain using complimentary tickets
